BC provides specialized behavioral assessments and treatment interventions in homes, schools and other community locations.
A BC assists families and others working with a child to understand the circumstances that may trigger a problem behavior, as well as what motivates the child to continue the behavior, and then assists in the development of specific therapeutic interventions to manage or eliminate the behavior. The role of a BC on a treatment team is to collaborate with all of the members of the team to assure that the team understands the child’s unique needs and intervention strategies. A BC can provide training, and consultation in any setting where a child may be experiencing emotional or behavioral problems.
IBHS services are offered in Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties.
